Yes you need a FQDN. You should also use a normal user. This tutorial builds on the concepts from the [original tutorial for 1.x series](https://primero.supporthub.dev/forum/t/how-can-i-quickly-set-up-primero/183) so take a look at setting up a simple cloud instance which is explained in the linked guide if you are just learning/testing.
